Celebrate unity, nature, community, and the joy of the unexpected at the launch of Northstowe's stunning new sculptural sign for Unity Lake!
Northstowe Arts has teamed up with Homes England, commissioning talented local artist Chloe Leaper to once again collaborate with the Northstowe community. Together, we've designed and created beautiful sculptural signs for our two new lakes: Unity Lake and Halcyon Mere. Have you been keeping up with progress on social media?
Now, as the signs are being installed, we're celebrating in style with Stardust Dance Academy and local origami artist Imelda Pinter!
Join us in making your own lucky bird at the Midsummer Festival or from the comfort of your home (tutorial here!). Then, come and hang them with the community at the Unity Lake sign at 2pm on 14th July, kicking off with a mesmerising ribbon dance performance.

Please note: we encourage you to walk or cycle to this event! But if driving, please park at Northstowe Secondary College and walk to Unity Lake - there is no parking on Lockhart Way or Stirling Road.
Bring a picnic blanket to sit on, and a picnic if you fancy making a longer day of it!
