Help design the sign for halcyon mere!

Come along to one of these free workshops to help local artist Chloe Leaper design a sign for one of the new lakes in Northstowe!

The name Halcyon Mere was chosen by Northstowe resident Andrew Collier to reflect the sanctuary found by wild birds in the area (halcyon is the Latin word for kingfisher).

You will create your own unique design to be part of the collective Northstowe Murmuration using geometry in fun and creative ways!

Whilst the age guide for the workshop is 8+, this is just a guide: younger children will be welcome. Adults without children are also very welcome!

These workshops are proudly presented by Northstowe Arts. They are FREE of charge as the project is funded by Homes England.
