10am - family workshop for 2 to 3 hours (approx. age guide: 8+)
2-5pm - open workshop for adults and children aged 8+

Come along to these free workshops to help artist Chloe Leaper design a mosaic sculpture for the new Heritage Centre!
Learn about the history of Northstowe which has been inhabited since the Iron Ages! Get a chance to handle real Roman ceramic fragments whilst developing the design for a new piece of public art.
Working with paper collage, you will explore the layout and colour palette of a mosaic which will use the original pieces of Roman pottery found during the Northstowe development.

Whilst the age guide for the morning workshop is 8+, this is just a guide: younger children will be welcome and the session will be more flexible than the afternoon. Adults without children are very welcome!
These workshops are part of Northstowe Winter Festival and proudly presented by Northstowe Arts. They are FREE of charge as the project is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Homes England.
All materials will be provided. Wear clothes you don't mind getting messy!
