crafting our creative northstowe

Mapping Northstowe’s Creative Life – And Imagining Its Future

Creativity is everywhere. It’s in the songs we sing, the art we make, the way we decorate our homes, even in the little things, like a sculpture that makes you smile on the school run. These moments shape Northstowe’s identity, and we want to map them, celebrate them, and grow them.

Why does this matter?

🧠 Creativity is self-care – It boosts mental health and wellbeing.

🤝 It brings us together – Shared creativity turns neighbours into friends.

🏡 It shapes our town – A creative place is a place we love to call home.

At Northstowe Arts we already know this is true, now we’re documenting it, with help from researchers at the University of Cambridge. And we need your input!

How can you get involved?

We’re collecting ideas through:

This is for everyone, whether you’re an artist, a hobbyist, or someone who’s never considered themselves creative (spoiler: you probably are!).

What happens next?

We’ll share our findings at Northstowe’s Midsummer Festival, but this is just the beginning. Join us and help shape the future of creativity in Northstowe!

Tell us: What does creativity look like in your life?
