Midsummer Festival success!

Northstowe’s first ever Midsummer Festival was a success! To everyone that took part, and to everyone that came along: thank you. The sun shone and it truly was a wonderful day of community celebration and togetherness.

We hope you had as great a time as we did! We really wanted the Festival to showcase lots of the wonderful things happening in our community: over 30 local community groups, organisations and businesses were involved. We've estimated that preparing for the event and running activities on the day took almost 400 hours of paid staff time and 200 hours of unpaid volunteer time for those involved! And so many people came to watch, join in, soak up the atmosphere, and brought a picnic or stopped by the food trucks.
